A member of the Holy Name Society is a male member of Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church who, through devotion to the Name of Jesus Christ, is inspired to holiness and sanctification. Who has a personal commitment to the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and labors to spread the Kingdom of God for the greater story and honor of Jesus Christ? Our Spiritual Director is Reverend Monsignor Earl Gauthreaux. The Holy Name Society is committed to teaching, spreading and defending the Faith of Christ.
The society meets on the second Sunday of each month after the 8:30 a.m. mass. Before the end of mass, you will always hear the choir or the Saint Maria Goretti Holy Name Society Glee Club sing,"Holy God We Praise Thy Name."
