There will be no exercise classes in the Center on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Further, in observance of Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday, the exercise classes will NOT meet between Monday, February 20 and Thursday, February 23. Classes will resume on Friday, February 24 at 12:15 PM.
The exercise class will resume on Mon. Jan. 2nd.

The exercise class will resume on Monday January 2, 2012
In 2010 the Wellness Ministry will offer exercise classes in Monsignor Gauthreaux Center four days a week.
On January 4, 2010, our general exercise classes, which emphasize aerobics, strength training, and flexibility, resumed meeting on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. These classes, taught by Toya layman and Herbert "Flip" Smalls, certified personal trainers and certified group exercise leaders, meet for approximately one hour. The classes are designed for people who wish to keep in shape by exercising with a supportive group.
On January 6, 2010, our yoga classes resumed meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM and on Thursday mornings at 11:00 AM. The yoga classes, led by long time yoga practitioner and instructor, Edna Stewart, is designed to help participants learn to relax and strengthen their bodies through gentle movements that leave one feeling both energized and refreshed.
On January 8, 2010, our individualized exercise class resumed meeting on Fridays at 12 Noon. This class, taught by experienced trainer, Flip, is designed for persons with limitations and/or persons looking for a less vigorous exercise routine. This is a fun filled class that incorporates exercises that simulate everyday life skill tasks.
No fee is charged for participating in the various exercise classes. However, we like to remind you that none of our trainers are paid for their services. For that reason we place a donation jar on the table and ask that you contribute generously to our trainers who generously volunteer their services to assist us in developing an exercise routine that will help us keep our bodies strong and healthyl
