First Place 4 Health Wellness

First Place 4 Health is a total wellness program designed to assist participants learn to lead a balanced life in a world that is often unbalanced.  This bible-based wellness program, which originally started out as a Christian weight loss program, focuses on the directive of Matthew 6:33, a verse that reminds us to make living the life Christ calls us to live our number 1 priority.   Mark 12:30, another key bible verse, teaches us that we make Christ the Center of our lives by learning to love him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.  In order to accomplish this in our daily lives we learn techniques and disciplines to improve our spiritual lives.  Additionally, we learn the basics of establishing healthy eating and exercising habits, as well as helpful techniques for maintaining good mental and emotional health.

There is no charge for participating in this twelve-week program, and it is not necessary to be a member of any church to participate.  All are welcome to join us.  However, new participants must purchase or have access to a member's kit and the bible study being used for the current session.  Continuing participants only need the bible study book.  Information on prices and sources for obtaining the materials will be provided at orientation and at the first class.
